Mark your calendars now to participate in the annual business meeting Sunday, November 2d at 5:30pm.  All voting members of River of Life need to attend to vote on key business items and hear the annual update on church finances.







    Get in the Christmas spirit Monday, December 1st at at 9am by helping to decorate the church.  Everyone is needed to help.  








  • Sunday School is critical to your development as a Christian.  There are Sunday School classes for all ages and interests.  Contact the church office for more information, 837-8781.







  • Small groups all in full swing this fall.  We want to get to know you better.  If you are new or been around the church for a while, our congregation wants to get to know you better.  Check our listing of small groups and get connected!








    The Wednesday, November 25 Bible study will move to Tuesday, November 24th only for families to prepare for Thanksgiving.  Midweek Bible study will reconvene the following Wednesday at its regular time.  








    Bagging for the November food bank is November 24th at 5pm in the Lindsey Center.  Food bank distribution day is Tuesday, November 25 at 7:30am.  Monthly, your time and money feeds approximately 400 south Tipton County families.  With Thanksgiving approaching, we expect larger than normal turnout.  Please be generous with your time and assist us with this vital ministry.







    Church-wide prayer and fasting is Monday through Wednesday, November 9-11.  Corporate prayer is 6pm nightly.  Let’s pray for our church, our community and our country.







    Ladies, plan to attend the Thanksgiving celebration Saturday, November 8th at 11 am.  The One Heart Ladies ministry is planning a special mystery tea which everyone can participate to figure out who “dunnit. “  Check with the church office to sign up.






  • Chaplain (Colonel) Scott McChrystal is our guest speaker for Veterans' Sunday, November 9th.  Chaplain McChrystal is the director of the Assembllies of God chaplaincy program and a retired active duty Army chaplain.  Following the morning service, our veterans and their immediate family will be honored in the Fellowship Hall with a catered luncheon.







    Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour on Saturday night, November 1st.  Time change will give you an extra hour on Sunday morning to prepare for church.
